The introduction of the Singapore Code of Corporate Governance 2005 means that listed companies should be implementing changes for announcement at AGMs from January 1st 2007. HIM Governance can undertake a health check of your organisation's governance status or compliance with the latest version of the Singapore Code of Corporate Governance, or any other code anywhere, and identify gaps in compliance. We can highlight areas that require attention, and guide on how compliance can be achieved. We can also assist in reviewing the adequacy of any other form of governance framework.

A governance health check, based on our very own propriety approach, provides the Board or any other stakeholder with an easily accessible diagnostic document that allows the board to move forward with confidence that they fully appreciate governance and requirements. By undertaking a corporate governance health check, an organisation will be in a position to better understand the governance arrangements and practises of the organisation, what is being done well, and what may need to be addressed.

Whilst providing no guarantee and/or assurance of compliance, the governance health check:

is not an in-depth study/audit;
provides wide review, coverage and analysis of governance;
is based on our methodology, experience/expertise in sector governance;
compares group and individual responses to provide independent and objective assessment; and
examines issues that stretch beyond compliance-based thinking.
